The Press Conference

"The Press Conference" uses a device of six screens to stage a speech of political justification.

The project juxtaposes numerous extracts from actual speeches to reconstruct a multifaceted identity of a politician. The lead actor, discovering the text as he performs it, assumes the contradictions and inconsistencies in the factitious linearity of this recomposed speech. Six screens offer six different angles of view of the same scene.
