Inspired by Ted Chiang's science-fiction short story "Liking what you see: a documentary", the video dramatizes an innovative medical procedure using both real and fictional characters. The fictional foundation of the story is reinforced by real-life testimonials taken out of context and live-filmed action interwoven with other written testimonials.
